Introduction

SOT² is a web-based opportunity tracking tool developed to complement the Shibui-IT™ system platform. The key benefits are in its transactional capabilities to track and monitor each new opportunity or socket from the concept phase to production start, leveraging the Shibui-IT™ BI for detailed analysis. SOT² replaces complex and expensive CRM solutions as well as manual and labor-intensive Excel solutions.

SOT² is a web-based opportunity tracking tool that provides potential users like sales representatives, field applications and managers minimum functionality required to track new business opportunities, manage and control the various design phases and generate an overview of all existing opportunity sockets. SOT² aims to provide only the functionality that is needed to track and monitor the funnel pipeline. 

The SOT² SW Module is available as a SaaS solution on a monthly subscription basis in the Cloud or on-Premise solutions. By focusing on the essential feature set and interfacing with the powerful Shibui-IT™  BI analytical engine, SOT² is the perfect economical CRM solution for Small and Midsize Enterprises (SME’s).

The SOT² application comes with a clear and well-designed dashboard and an intuitive user interface are at the heart of this web-based tracking tool. The SOT² is easy-to-use and can even be used by new users without consulting the SOT² tutorial.

Upon customer request, special dashboard elements or new functionalities can be added with an additional development fee.

The reporting function has been kept to a minimum as the detailed analysis of the entered opportunity information is performed by the Shibui-IT™ Business Intelligence. A large number of pre-defined applications and reports can already be chosen from the the Shibui-IT™ library.>>> Table of Content

Main Features

SOT² was designed as a pure transactional input tool with minimal reporting features, since the SOT² analysis is entirely done in Shibui-IT™ BI. The main features of SOT² focus on registering and tracking new business opportunities and offer a user-friendly dashboard that minimizes the time required for data entry.

  • A drop-down menu allows to assign the opportunity name to the socket plus comments
  • Socket specific data such as project status and products can be selected from a drop-down menu, and units and price data can be easily entered

Deployment Options

k•d•m offers for the SOT² customers primarily three deployment options.

1. On-premise 

If the customer already has an IIS web server installed, the SOT² web application can be additionally installed. If not, the SOT² data will be deployed on a single server.

2. k•d•m Host

If the customer wishes, their SOT² data can be installed on a k•d•m host server.

3. Cloud Azure

A further option is the deployment of the SOT² data in the Cloud Azure
